Killing bill for sure. But this year the festival takes place in Bologna not in Milano that's a bit more difficult for me to attend this gig.

& naglfar is on the bill?!

Well since I label Helloween as "melodic speed metal" it doesn't "hurt" me... I see Stratovarius as a baaaaaaad pseudo Helloween, so...

Symphony X sounds more progressive than metal

I like Helloween with Kai Hansen but Stratovarius is just a wanabee speed metal band.

Symphony X is pitiful as well as all those pseudo new wave heavy excuse me 'true" metal bands. The only one I can listen to is Blind guardian.

So difinitevely it is an insult to speed and heavy metal bands hhehe

And it seems Stratovarius' singer has completley lost his mind

I will be there...

So, first time I went to this festival. Despite the terrible organisation (nothing comparable with the german ones) it was fucking great. So much nerds, alcohol etc .... way to much sun there, no shadow anywhere. A very good point was the camping area.

A raining storm the saturday screwed up the running order of the sunday, so we missed Sodom/Naglfar.

The higlights were :

- Judas Priest (sooo killer with Rob Halford)
- WASP (of course, but maybe a too unoriginal set)
- Testament
- Motörhead
- Humm Sodom

The Italian crowd if one of the most apathetic I've seen for some years (Lemmy seems to have the same vision than me heh).

Yep, it does hurt me to see they're even playing... what's the world come to... one of these days I'm gonna see a revival metal fest with Europe being the final act... Argh!!! Gotta go throw up now!!!

Only disappointment was that Wasp played in the afternoon and that the sound was bad.

Judas Priest was amazing, one of the best performance I had the opportunity to see in my life.
