About the "mid-tempo" most of the time it's more fast than mid-tempo I think...

What's the point in releasing 100 shit releases a year? tons of splits, eps, demos, full lengths, live recordings of shit material? Seriously some of these bands should take a couple of years to come up with something decent instead of releasing every single shit track they record or every gig they record "to please the fans" when the result is most of the time crap and "rerecorded old songs" or "different versions" but always the same garbage. And Horna is unfortunately not the only example.............
Just my opinion though.......................... don't like it? sue me :D

Horna's releases are reasonable AND good... Compared to Sabbat, they almost release a 7" / week...

I guess you like bands more who release 1 album every 6 years or so?

There is a middle ground to this, you know. Most bands release an album every 1 or 2 years, not everyone is like Sabbat or Mysticum

I wasn't saying they are terrible but they're utterly mediocre (and some less than that), better spend a year and release something worth releasing.

No i don't like a band because of the time it requires to them to come up with a release (pretty lame comeback there). I like good releases, and bands that put an effort to come up with something GOOD, meaning not releasing every shit song they come up during drunken rehearsal sessions.

Sabbat is another story and they're older than some people here even I believe...

Hmm, I really don't get why you care if a band releases a lot of albums,splits,7"s,etc;.. or not

I think all that he meant is that a band would be able to release BETTER releases if they would take more time to compose since they are releasing a lot of shit that is all sounding the same (I GUESS)

Anyway I wouldn't care much , would just pick the good releases

And I mean that the quality of Horna's releases don't suffer from the quantity from their releases...

I also don't think that releasing several 7", (M)CDs and so on in a year is that bad. Horna's outputs have always been of great quality (only Suidentaival disappointed me a bit, but it was still a good release). If you don't like that, then just don't buy their stuff...

And as for "Viha ja viikate", I think it's one of the strongest outputs. Although I don't enjoy it as much as "Haudankylmyyden mailla" (Their best effort in my opinion), it's still one of the better recent BM-releases, a bit repetitve (since it's quite short), but the vocals on that one are just killer.

As for you Viha ja is a far better product

then Haudankylmyyden. So please open your ears.

Being a huge fan of Horna, "Viha Ja Viikate" disappointed me though. WAY WAY too clean and the guitar riffs are too "dancy"for my taste. I'm definitely more fan of their older, rawer stuff.

ChaosGod is correct on his appreciation, and I wasn't speaking about Horna exclusively, there are tons of bands who "flood" with useless garbage and I wasn't "bashing" Horna either, just speaking my mind about useless releases, I worship my "Sota" copy for example........

Yes, I consider myself as such, kid. You're far from understanding anything about him if you always relate him with BM exclusively, poofter.
