just dug out my "from the dead temples" lp... listened to it all over the day ha!

some questions came to my mind...

whats this band doing today?! are their any new releases announced?

beside their demo, their split 7" and their full lenght is there anything to listen to?! rehearsals or whatever...?

has anyone printed some AoP T-shirts? i am not sure if i remember correctly? maybe hellflame? anyone knows how they looked like?

on theweb (http://www.metallive.nl/metallive/metallive.nsf/0/20E27C4513595EF3C1256C64003B7C27?OpenDocument) i found this interesting gig with bands like GBK, AoP, Watain, Unpure... in Bladel. Was this date even realized, if yes, was there someone who recorded it on tape or video...

well, much fun helping me out... i would appreciate every response...

I don't know if the band is still active...
Regarding the releases you can add the track they did on the Black metal Blitzkrieg Lp (their best song according to me).
Indeed a very limited tshirt was printed. Don't know how it looked like though...
As for the date you mention, it did happen but AoP didn't play if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know anything about AOP's current status but am also curious to know more.

The Drakkar Fest in Bladel, did happen, but AOP, Unpure (And Kerberos?) did not play. Celestia did though if I remember correctly.

I think that the ts are still available from the band's adress, I (Hellflame) didn't print them myself, just helped them out in getting the shirts ready...as for th eband's status, they are still active, recently they found a second guitar player and should have soon some split vinyls ready (with Deathspell Omega and Mordaehoth, the second one being an ep tribute to Der Blutharsh)...and they didn't play any gig so far, mostly because of the absence of a second guitar player.

Ok I just got to know that the split with Deathspell Omega was an old plan which is not actual anymore...I know it would have been great but...

Thyrrsen told me they were composing new songs for an album to be released somewhere in the future...but this is a conversation happened near May 2003

A.O.P. is indeed a very good band with some of the most intelligent ideas around in the present Black Metal undergroud, too bad their music might not be the absolute best in my eyes, yet still they do have also some very excellent material.

So curious to hear the tribute ep... sounds like it will turn into a "must have" for me, though mmmm will it be composed of cover tracks or tracks inspired by Albin Julius & so on??
