BlackLodge for the aural assault of their 1st CD, ReignOfErebus, UkBlacksters – the real thing, ArkhoN –no need 4 intro here- + AboryM as usual with Attila Csihar’s Fronting BUT also, exceptionaly BARD FAUST, coming from Oslo. 1st and only gig since release from jail playing with AboryM. All the night is followed by a Massive party finishing @ 06.00 am …3 floors, 20kg of sound, page666 MutantGirls, Metal, Booze, Drugs, Decadence…and US. those of you who know our London Nights will know our Nights are ‘invigorating’, ah ah... Also on the night after, another gig… for those of you who did not ODed…

I'm impatient to know how was that night...

Ok here is a short review:

- Black lodge : Great show. Too bad that drum machine was too low...
- Reign of Erebus : Best sound of the evening but show without interest
- Arkhon : The band, this night, for me. Much more brutal than in Paris.
- Aborym : The sound was horrible. I was pissed by that because I'm a huge fan... Faust played on 2 songs (actually : Twice the same...). With a better sound it would have been the gig of the year.
- after bands: Hardcore techno stuff, drugs, alcohol, puke ...all night long

Coming back to the subject : how many people in the Club ? I hope this kind of event will become an habit...

I don't know how it is for other gigs but there was a lot of people. But the fact is that it is a club too. So some guys were there just for the techno/goth party after the gigs and didn't care about the bands.

Goddamn this was a brutal weekend...

It started with Easy Jet fucking up delaying our plane 2 hours. This caused us missing blacklodge and reign of erebus.
Arkhon Infaustus was amazing. Shame about the shitty sound. But goddamn, that drummer is fucking amazing.
Ofcourse aborym blew me away despise the really fucked up sound. I have all their albums, but i just couldnt make some songs up. It was a real goddamn honour to see Attila and Bard perform live.

The sunday gig was great to. I think all the bands and us, fluisterwoud, created the right amount of chaos to make our show, at least for us, a night to remember.
My broken bass string and me being pissed off about it actually created a good moshpit during the encore, darkthrone cover unholy black metal cover.

Fucking excellent weekend

TO and GM - from a personal perspective: due to not rehearsing with TO for a week before the gig, I fucked up a bit but on the whole it was OK - seemed to draw a very mixed reaction, which is always good!

I was quite pleased with the GM set - for our first gig and the other members having no or very little previous live experience, it came across very well.

Archaicus - didn't get to see these guys but did hear them. Seemed very different from the demo and almost brutal ugly Death Metal like Sargatanas! These guys need to do a lot of rehearsing and get another guitarist before realising their potential.

Niroth - these guys fucking kill. Their demo is supreme and they pulled it off excellently live. The vocals are just sheer harsh noise! I'm still in shock how this lot can be so young, English and excellent all at the same time!

Fluisterwoud - what a fucking killer set from a killer band. The sound was totally chaotic and the triple vocal onslaught raped the whole venue. Best song was the demo track they played (sorry, can't remember the Dutch title)

All in all, an excellent night and a killer weekend. Hope my holocaustal hangover disappears soon!
