If you come from France:

Drive to brussels (how to get there, find it out). Then take A12 to antwerp. After some time (i think 15 minutes) you'll see a sign with a hand with barbed wire in it on your right side. Next to the sign is the former SS-concentration camp. Take the exit right behind it. Follow the road and then you drive over the bridge over the A12 (where you previously were driving on) and then you are driving on the N16 to St-niklaas.
At the second lights turn left and follow the street. You'll come at a crossroad, turn left and follow it, at the gass station turn right. If yo take left there you'll end up at the N16 again (so dont do that). Then take the first street to the right. Then follow the road for a couple of minutes and then stop at the building with a lot of scary people in front of it.



If you come from Holland:

In Antwerp take N16 to Brussels. After some time you'll see on your right a building where they do carting (on the wall of the building in big: indoor karting). If you see that take the next exit. You'll end up at a crossroad of the N16, turn right and at the first crossroad turn left. You'll come at a crossroad, turn left and follow it, at the gass station turn right. What about any meeting point there in saturday afternoon??

Breendonk was probably the most cruel camp of its time, because it was soo small; only place for about 500 prisoners. People had the possiblity to make friends, to create a liason, so if there were executions then, it had a much greater impact than it had in the bigger camps.

It's not too difficult to get in Breendonk, http://route.anwb.nl is a very good European route-planner, but it is in Dutch.

Problem: on the same day 1349 is playing in the Frontline in Ghent/Belgium. (also Aeternus and Red Harvest)
I really want to see 1349
the ideal solution would be that the two gigs could pass as one, but that wont happen i guess.

1349 wont's play the gig in belgium or in Rotterdam since FROST need to drum in Greece with Satyricon those dates..

I also heard from the booker of the Dutch gig of 1349 / red harvest / aeternus that 1349 cancelt the gig in rotterdam for that reason....

I doubt it would be possible to gather the two gigs under one banner

I guess it would be more interestin for the other bands though.

ROUTE UPDATE TO BREENDONK

If you come from Brussels (so french people):

Take A12 to 'Antwerpen'. Keep on following this untill you come at the crossroad before the DUVEL (the famous belgian beer) factory (white building with a glass of duvel in big on it AT YOUR LEFT SIDE).

At this crossroad before the duvel-factory turn left.

After a few hundred metres you come at intersection. turn right.

Follow this street about 2 kilometres and right before a GOLF CLUB you'll see the building ('t schuur)



For people coming from Holland take the descvription above with the only difference that you take in Antwerpen A12 to Brussel and you approach the DUVEL factory (on your right) from the other side.

Yes, great it was, but i didnt really like the acoustic of the place. Everything sounded distantly. I like galgeras very much but i coulnt hear 1 fucking riff. From temple of baal sound was a bit better. Temple of Baal kicked ass! all the bands. Fluis. didnt play 'woudangst' ! shit! and antaeus was a live holocaust!!

True the acoustic of the place was a bit shitty, there was too much reverb... The very high roof might be a reason. I just put more medium to my sound so it could be more distinct...

But anyway... A night to remember !

I have approx 60 pix of the gig, but not in digital format. Will developp them and scan them asap. Hope the quality won't be too shitty, I'm a miserable photographer hehehe

curious to see pix from this event myself.

I bought the Temple Of Baal releases yesterday! FUKK! You have my support.

the sound was quite bad, but I must say that the effects on the vocals for all the bands was amazing. Especially on Antaeus... New line-up+this awesome reverb made the band much more "ambient" and less powerful (my opinion). It was a feeling quite "new" for me while listening to Antaeus. I liked it.

Galgeras was great, but very chaotic, but that was because of the crappy sound (which all the bands had problems with I think)... Perditor played a good show, but i've seen them better.. their new drummer handles his sticks very well...



Temple of baal was fucking excellent.. great old school hooligan black metal.. I just want to hit people in the face while listening to it...

Well.. about Fluisterwoud: to bad our other guitarist wasn't there... chaos ...

I was surprised by Fluisterwoud ?!?!, I haven't understand their set. I will expect more from this band. The Demo was great, but on stage, hum I think they have got some technical problemz.

we had some technical problems hell yeah!!! the sound onstage was horrible: it sounded like a metal can with marbles in it that got kicked around by some big fat pig... the stage sound was horrible!!! and also we had to miss our 2nd guitarist!!!!
