I only have their "Viktory of tyranny", and it sounds good agressiv and hateful.
I don't know their other releases, but I think you can still find the one I own.

I'm very curious to know how FD is on stage, but I can't move to Portugal. Maybe someone will record it ?

FLAGELLUM DEI are one of the pearls of the Portuguese BM scene, they only have a few demos and splits I think. The sound is fantastic, raw, extreme and hateful like is meant to be.

Flagellum Dei released a split CD together with Lux Ferre and Sterkvind entitled "Kult Of The Black Flame" limited to 500 copies. You should get it through www.warproductions.kom.pt

I actually saw that Antaeus videoclip tha first time it was broadcasted on the portuguese television through Sic Radical at the Curto Circuito program... i remember the face of the program hosts... they were actually looking at each other shocked! ahahha

Antonio Freitas(One of Corpus Circuito show presenters and old Metalhead) did some promotion to the gig and he played the video clip,was pretty cool of him really,wasn´t expecting,I did send him a personal e.-mail promoting the gig but this wasn´t expected,he did more than just telling the which gigs where happing this weekend,in fact he called me this night as asked to get more info about Black metal bands cos he is willing to promote more whenever possible.I do think this was a big step for Portuguese television,to show such a extreme video clip specially during the hour they "played" it,I don´t care about which channel played it or not,all matters is that satanic Propaganda is spreaded,after all,aren´t we here to reach "Armageddon" !?!?!

The accoustic of the place (yes it´s a kitchen indeed) is shitty but ignoring that the gig was fuckin´ great.

The sound was pretty decent,all 4 bands had a powerful and "percetible" sound,i´ve been to a lot of venues with hi-tec sound equipement thaat didn´t had such a good sound like we had last night.Anyway,was a excellent gig.

Back from Portugal, dead but this really was an EXCELLENT gig, in many points. The sound was quite good, but people will always find reasons to complain.. Also, it may have been in a so called "kitchen", but in my eyes the place was not less than hell this night.

Thanks again to the organization and people involved, especially mister Nocturnus Horrendus.

The organization did all the possibles so eveything was ok. All bands were excellente (although InThyFLesh fukked up in the first song...... :sick: ) and all rest was Black Metal! The place is not a 'kitchen'... the kitchen is in the other side of the wall, behind the stage. But decadent enough! hehehe Killer!

Well i think that it´s all said about how great this gig was,i cannot add very much,but here it goes:
First of all,congratulations to all the bands for the great show!
I´ve enjoyed InThyFlesh with new line up,and i remember them in another way not worse or better,maybe a litlle more stunning.
About Flagellum Dei,even without the bass player they were really strong on stage and they prove why they are one of the most respected bands in portugal,not my favorite one but indeed one of the best ones.Corpus Christii were powerful and brutal side by side with some melancholic and deeper feelings in their act,i´ve seen them for the first time yesterday and they´ve reign totally,my expectations were right!Antaeus,they´ve ruled without any kind of surprise for me...total devastation,and great musicianship! :iark:
Despiting some minor details that didn´t went too perfect,all the bands were very good!
About the spot,humm...a bit claustrophobic,anyway...
More events like these one are needed!

Yeah, pictures of this event are going to be easy to find... I think... I saw a lot of flashes specially during Antaeus performance.
About the gig itself, Flagellum Dei were, in my very own opinion, the best band... They are pure satanic darkness! Too bad that they played without their bass player...
InThyFlesh's performance was quite impressive too, very aggressive and i really enjoyed their new songs!
Of all the performances of Corpus Christii's that i've saw (3) this was the one that i've noticed the higher amount of feeling, true dark feeling!
Antaeus was by far the most destructive band in the night, but this is considered normal due to their very own sonority. I personally consider Antaeus repetitive and this is why i didn't liked it as much as i liked the previous bands.
This was a great Black Metal event... too bad that here in Portugal we can only see events like this one two or three times a year.
Great job by the organization!

PS: the beer ended too early!!!!

I have to agree on the beers being sold pretty fast
would have enjoyed some after the gig itself since the heat was a bit too much for me in the end (not used to that myself)

but as some people did notice, it is rather surprising to see me "satisfied" from gigs

N.H. - Thiumphant Gleam cover was realy unexpected. CC is always full of surprises... hehe...

First of all I would like to thank all the people who showed up at the gig and who supported the bands and this event,which wasn´t that easy to organize like expected,but what matters is that all turned out fine,i would say in fact that it was beyond my expectations.

Second I must refer that all bands were really great and that it was very col to see that there was no tight ass poser attitude between band members,something that is quite common but not something I do accept.

Third,well,the beer ran out cos of the people who were taking care of the bar,not really my fault,I still tried to solve that problem but wasn´t really possible,stupid of them to think that they wouldn´t sell that much beer,anyway,we drank afterwards,All Hail BP Gas Stations!

Fourth,my back still hurts,disapointed that MkinkyM didn´t do me a massage...I will kick your butt(again) Mister Kinky.
