About the gig in Marseille, we wanted to released it but we are very low on cash these times so it will not be possible for us.
Anyway in Marseille there is almost no one interested in this kind of underground concert, except (like Terrorizt said) a bunch of really stupid skinheads.

Sure Paris would be the best, but considering the price for getting a venue, it seems totally impossible.
I keep on thinking the best solution is a venue out of Paris.

Marseille used to be a very good place for concert back in 92-94. But the last shows I witnessed this last years were just crap, and here I'm only talking about the crowd not the bands. But yes, half of the crowd is "stupid" skinheads, half is wanabee true evil and whatever suckers.

I don't mean to sound rude to ppl who want to play etc.
But being in one of the touring bands. I really don't feel like having 5 support acts, and then a 10hr drive.

And if it is as I have interpreted it through Mr Mkm's posts the worst venue,
with bad sound and audience and the gig the day after starts a 2, well....

I realize I am not the boss and probably can't influence this but I think this opinion goes for the others in Watain too.

(We leave on monday so it would be nice to know some details about his gig before then)

so maybe it would turn out "worth the time given"
But I would agree on the fact that no other band is needed apart from christicide on that day to help the drive the day after.

5 bands was interesting because more attractive for the audience, so more chance to get a correct amount of people.
But let's leave things as they are now.

Ok. Well, like I said, we can hardly decide who and how many who get to play
but it should be kept reasonable I think.

As for those afternoon concerts... Yeah, we did one of those in Holland a while back
and got there about 10 minutes before we were supposed to play
(and we had way better odds timewise that time than we seem to have this time)...

But yes, we'll deal with this somehow, just checking if anyone had info here
(As people here seem to know more then me about this tour.)

Well the original suggestion I had (and no disrespect to anyone's efforts on the Perpignan show) was to disregard the south of France entirely since Mr. Berzerk (who made a great show for us last year) was not available to host this show. I was voted down on this by the other two band heads, which I accepted since it seemed like the majority was in favor of proceeding. I have some genuine worries about getting to Gent on time, however. We shall see...

Yeah, bad timing finally, this kinda sucks cause I know some other bands have been offered to play as well so I'm really sorry about that..
Anyway, I think the tour doesn't really need any support band to be "attractive", I just hope there IS any audience right there in Perpignan..

Anyway guys, try to keep your energy for the Gent gig, I think this one will worth the 10h drive..

There is a lot of promo doing by some South Satanist: Drakkar , aura mystic , battlesk'rs , ordealis records , Ged , aktually spreading many poster in the south town such as Bezier , nimes , nices , marseille , toulon , toulouse , montpellier , narbonne... Thanx to them. Charles Wimp torturer tell me yesterday that South guy are very happy to see a great gig in the south and they will move their ass.

Gent was amazing as far as I am concerned
around 100 sold tickets or so, the venue was "kinda" packed in the end.
did miss the first bands thanks to some driving problems & the usual luck I have to deal with
(thkz to torturer for the sarcasm btw eheh)

got to see some of iconoclasm (only covers I did get to see)
& sotm/watain/averse sefira were really at their best (me thinks)

even if mister Mork couldn't show up as bass player in watain, erik did one hell of a job

yes, that was really a killer gig..
WATAIN was extremely insane, they are always succeeding in delivering a chaotic and sick athmosphere.

SOTM and Averse Sefira were sick as hell. Just kicks ass.
But the best show was performed by Watain. I think there's no human words to describe them.

I don't want to sound too "precious", I know what a UGBM gig, etc... but still, I'm quite tired of the usual shit which happens to almost every concert : bands arriving 4 hours late, etc...
Seems this happens often in BELGIUM concerts...

But, for SOTM/AS/Watain, finaly everything worked fine...

again.... this was a killer tour I think.. the Arnhem gig was great.. altough the soudnengeneers of the venue started complaining about the dead pigeons.... fucking wankers...

hey we fixed that problem in the end. The crowd just got a much closer look at the pigeons, that's all. That was killer- the whole room stank of old death on Watain's last song.

and it smelled like Pelle's armpits :shuthefp:

Fucking great show indead. watain, SOTM and Averse Sefira were excellent. Total support for those three bands. I never saw SOTM and Averse Sefira and I have to say they kills.

One of the best concert I saw since a long time.

But there is still the gig in Breedonk coming on the 15/11/03. I'm sure this one will also bring you chaos...

hopefully it will, when will we get the confirmation of the last band btw?
