organizing extreme metal concerts in Paris is now turning to an impossible mission...

No affordable venue = No gig at all

This really sucks as to my mind many people plan to come to the show: on a sunday "evening" it should bring a good crowd, and although they tour quite often, Vader tend to play in front of a large audience in Paris.
Moreover their last set here was really short, and they cancelled a gig in the beginning of the year, so it's a good opportunity to see them in good condtions.

And of course A.I., who haven't played here for quite some time, right ?!
Btw how was the response concerning the first shows ?

Anyway I hope to see them in Paris...

anyone I heard mentionnin this gig always pointed out that they didn't care at all for vader & the rest, only Arkhon was of their interest

& though they tour all the fuckin time just like marduk

I know that no one cares, but I would kill to see a show like this. I cannot believe this bill would not draw a crowd especially in a city the size of Paris! Hell, I would buy a ticket if it would help the show go on...Is the scene that jaded? I mean, guess what's coming near me in the near future - NOTHING! And I agree with Mr. MkM, Vader are rather boring, but I would rather see Vader than NOTHING...

Hell there's a big fest coming in NJ ;)

Luckily these past weeks there are been quite a few shows in Texas but I'm not sure for anywhere else in the states though...Thornspawn is about to tour, that will be a cool show to catch !

to be honest, it's not really that the scene is "jaded" here
I would say that the black death metal scene is really dying
only the "mainstream" stuff would gather some crowd still
& if you had to attend venues, you'd see a lot more "nu metal freaks" than black death metal addikts

Paris used to be the best place for gigs in general (to my opinion) & it did die faster than what I thought.

well for vader, saw them like 10 times & even when they toured years ago, they always bored me to death.

nu metal kids are everywhere and in every country...hell they're even on stage along side of black/deatk metal bands in certain shows here... :sick:

et pour le concert d'enthroned hier au divan du monde, ca a donne quoi?

Très bon enthroned.
Ils avaient un son correct donc ca passait vraiment bien.

La salle était loin d'être pleine par contre.

j ai eu des echos assez "different" sur l'affluence
d'un cote on me dit une petite centaine meme pas
& de l'autre on me sort 300 personnes

Comme j'ai pu te le dire par ailleurs, pour moi y'avait 150 pèlerins.
Grand maximum 200 (et en étant plus ke large lÃ*)
Et preske vide Ã* la fin pour enthroned (dernier metro oblige).

Sur les kelkes fois ke j'ai pu les voir, c'est peut être leur meilleure préstation.

J'ai du voir en gros Enthroned 3 ou 4 fois dans des pays differents...au debut c'etait ok mais la derniere fois qu'ils ont joues ici, je suis tres serieuse, a 1 minutes dans la premiere chanson, tout le devant de la salle rigolait, j'avais honte pour eux...
le chant etait vraiment minable, un mix entre un chat et Mickey, il n'y avait que la batterie qui etait ok....franchement il y a tellement de groupes qui vaudraient plus une tournee aux states que ce groupe de m.... c'est assez injuste mais bon...au moins ils se sont tapes plusieurs de mes copines ici (je ne parle meme pas de leur IQ quand ils ouvrent la bouche ces mecs) mais comme je l'ai dit, il y a tellement de bons groupes en Europe comme Anta et Watain par example et tous ce qu'on se tape ici c'est un groupe de daube comme Enthroned

Je ne vois vraiment pas la relation entre Enthroned et Monsieur Prozac mais bon...j'ai eu l'opportunite de rencontrer en personne les gens des 2 et oui Prozac est un mec tres intelligent et qui est aussi super cool a passer une soiree avec.

Un petit mot sur le concert d'hier soir: Destinity, Agathodaimon, Seth et Enthroned Ã* calais

A chier, une sono qui marche pas, et une super ambiance pourrie Ã* base d'insultes et de baston sponsorisée par vos amis BLISS OF FLESH - fouteurs de merde de père en fils -

Regis est descendu se bastonner avec notre bassiste parce qu'il avait malencontreusement "heurté" une pedale sur scene pendant le pogo. Heureusement tout est bien qui finit bien et monsieur Regis est venu s'excuser sous les applaudissements émus de trois poivrots bourrés.

Haaa yes nice shots, were there many people? it seems you took the pictures like you were on the stage too hehe.

The venue (the underworld, which is really cool) was quite crowded, although there was Children of Bodom playing at the same time...

Great sound, the audience was really metal...

The response for A.I. was quite good, and I must say their set was really intense!

The cancellation of the Paris show sucks big times, let's hope they'll play here in a near future.

The Underworld ?? it is quite a small place to see Arkhon/vader etc .......

Damn it really sucks, hope they'll make a special apparence in Paris (or marseille) quite soon.

This gig was excellent, the performance of Arkhon was impressive, the new tracks are fucking great on stage... That's a shame it's been cancelled here...
