En fait, si je me souviens bien c'est le groupe qui est ne du split d'Epic, mais ca n'a franchement plus rien a voir, c'est beaucoup plus Death (a part le chant et encore), voila, sinon ils enregistrent leur album juste apres Olc (debut novembre donc).

Bon moi je transmet pour le concert, on en a parle hier par hasard et eux serait interesse par un concert, mais si vous chercher plus/aussi gros qu'Antheus c clair que c'est pas le cas.

Ben 80€ pourris je trouve pas ca très cher, mais vous ki êtes jeune et bo encore vous pouvez surtout avoir largement moins cher ! Moi en 1ere (8 heures de trajet :fuk: ) c 100€ aller/retour en vous débrouillant bien 50€ aller/retour pour vous c super faisable.

Le van esy celui que les Averses Sefira(s) utilisent pour venir jeudi soir à maisons laffitte, donc le détour par nation me semble illogique.
Le rdv sera plus vraisemblablement à Maisons Laffitte, assez tôt pour prévoir les galères éventuelles, si les balances commencent à 16 h (ce qui est probable), les 7 heures de route nous font partir à 9 h.

We made it back safely

the venue looked amazing, killer place

around 100 people though, not so crowded but well

All in all, I think the show was worth it

averse & deviant were really good

averse is 666 times better live than on cd, no doubt on that, & they were psycho on stage, really barbaric, the drummer is truly impressive, blastin all the way, a killin machine

deviant was rather a great surprise, considerin it was their first show, yhrm & arkdaemon are aktually at home, as well as the averse guyz... we shall be off to some pub in paris for tonight

anyway we're alive, but fuckin 7/8 h traffic did kill me (traffic jam in paris = FUCK)

Did Averse Sefira indicate to anyone if they were working on new material?

We are currently preparing a new album for release in 2003.

Also I just wanted to add that It was an amazing privilege to play alongside our brothers in Deviant and Antaeus over the weekend. It was one of the best events in which we've participated. I think all the bands did their share of killing that night, so hails to all of us! :iark:

AVERSE SEFIRA - Battle's Clarion
Much like aging in fine wines, Averse Sefira's latest effort "Battle's Clarion" only gets better with each subsequent listen. It took a few listens before I was drawn into their maelstrom, but now I gladly suffer for it. "Battle Clarion" is an intense, rage-filled black metal tour de force. This compelling intensity is not so much blast beating obvious, instead it is more refined and calculated. Their wrath seems more palpable, therefore more believable. This is not schlocky B-movie satanic histrionics, this is high order evil that challenges the listener at every turn. I realize that people have compared them to Immortal and Satyricon, but I think that is unfair. Averse Sefira, although possibly influenced by those great Scandinavian bands, has fiercely carved out their own niche with a sound that is firmly rooted in black metal's past, but also forward-looking with odd sounding tunings, an ear for melody and unique progressions. If that were not enough, a subtle death metal influence creeps into the mix which adds to this album's impact. The title track for instance features fronzen blasts of Arctic evilness and a slower bent note section that rules. I could do without the short atmospheric instrmentals, but I realize "atmosphere" is important. I forgive them this small transgression. Regardless I am a convert. The vocals are pure black metal rasp and the pain is obvious, but I think more fluctuation in tone would be even more frightening - this vocal intensity is realized in the spellbinding "Deathhymn," but the moment is fleeting. The stunning guitar work flails open virgin flesh with fast riffed sections and beautiful, clear melodic notes. The war drums, supplied by a being only known as The Carcass, simply obliterate. Speaking of the drums, the production is quite impressive and the drums sound like drums, i.e., not triggered. MkM of Antaeus and Imperial from Krieg supplied demonic backup vokills on this effort which only adds to the multiple layers of cacophony. Averse Sefira are beyond "kult." If "Battle's Clarion" does not propel Averse Sefira to the forefront of the USBM scene I do not know what will. - John Mincemoyer

The organisation were really great, the only negative point were the static crowd...

Je pense sincèrement que celÃ* est pas mal dû au developpement de cette pseudo scène "N.S" et aussi aux gamins Ã* moitié mongoliens ki pensent k'être "black" metal c rester chez soi où dans une forêt en invoquant la lune pfffffffffff, en écoutant exclusitement du "true" (je peux pas supporter ce terme) black, remarque si c pour se taper des abrutis ki se déplacent mais te matent de haut alors k'ils ont 10 ans de moins ke toi et restent les bras croisés au fond de la salle boffff.

Je me souviens de concerts Ã* Marseille, justement avec Maleficum orgia, et même Marduk aux alentours du fuck christ tour où ça bougeait bcp et bien. Après ke ça soit Mysticum/Dissection/Maleficum orgia/Funeral (he ouiii hehe :-\ )/Massacra/Gorgon/Bloody ritual bcp de monde se bougeait aussi. Puis ça a décliné.................Même l'ambiance (comme je l'entends) est différente.

Oui le NS y est pour beaucoup, je suis d'accord vec toi, et les petits jeunes qui arrivent n'arrange pas tjours les choses. Le declin de la scene BM est général même si sur Paris on s'en sort encore pas trop mal (quand il y a des concerts) on verra d'ailleurs ce que donnera le festival du 11 janvier mais je pense qu'il devrai quand meme y avoir du monde.
