Exodus was one of the best and most well-known of the Bay Area thrash bands of the late 80's, and their style virtually defined American thrash. The general consensus is that their first three albums are outright thrash classics (many feel Bonded By Blood was their best, though the vote here goes to Fabulous Disaster), while their latter two albums, though similar in style, were lacking somewhat. The band had several ties to other Bay Area bands, featuring Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett in their early days (in fact, Hammett was directly recruited from Exodus by Metallica following their firing of Dave Mustaine), and vocalist Steve Souza originally sang for Testament in their early days (back when they were known as Legacy).

By the mid-nineties the band had effectively broken up, but then reunited with original vocalist Paul Baloff to record the Another Lesson live album, and then disbanded again. Once again Baloff and crew came back together in 2001 to play live, until Baloff's tragic death due to a stroke suffered on January 31, 2002. Longtime vocalist Steve Souza has returned to the fold to continue playing live in tribute to Baloff, and there are now definite plans for a studio album in 2003.

Steve Souza vocals
Rick Hunolt guitars
Gary Holt guitars
Jack Gibson bass
Tom Hunting drums (Angel Witch)

J'en sais rien, ca doit faire 10ans que j'en avais pas entendu parler he he he
Sinon, le tumoreu (?) du cerveau dans Testament, c'était James Murphy... enfin, c'est toujours, il est pas encore mort...
