What is your opinión about the Spanish Scene of BLACK METAL?

Primigenium is a really good band, especially their "Intolerance" album.

Yeah, maybe Proclamation n Teitanblood even if that's not really my cup of tea.

I heard once about a band called vidres a la sang or something more or less similar. can't remember it.
Was good.

But Spain is probably the weakest country about BM.

I only own cd's of Blazemth and Foscor. Nothing special though...

I think the Greek scene is really underestimated.

why no Teitanblood and Proclamation in the list? along with Primigenium and Beheaded Lamb, they represent the Spanish scene for me.

and there is no such thing as "weakest" or "strongest" or such. it's just your personal preferences. even if there are fewer bands in some countries, it doesn't mean that they are "weak".

Bloodoline's work on the split CD "Dissociated Human Jonction" (Blut Aus Nord, Reverence, Bloodoline, Karras) is really impressive !

With great vox that sounds like Aldrhan in Zyklon-B !

BEELZEB album cover is simply horrible but the album is very good in fact. It is no longer available but worth checking it.
I´d say it even has some Ved Buens Ende touches.

Primigenium "Intolerance" might be the best Spanish record ever.

Cryfemal, Bloodline, Foscor, Amnion, Balmog, Empty are bands to check out.

Besides of EMPTY and AMNION, of course, Akerbelzt and Argar are some of the purest and with more feeling which has been gone here.......

besides of that, they are the bands I like the most and the ones I respect the most as well. They are really commited people, but did you got upset because I didn't mention your band nor any other from your label? :D

ARGAR is a good band, but nothing really special. The kind of bands you hear, rate as okay and forget.

CRYFEMAL have some unique elements. The vocals blow me away, listening to them the first time. But all in all the albums have a regrettable lack of variety. "Perpetua Funebre Gloria" might be their best work.

I wonder nobody mentioned HRZIG! "Oaken Path of Grief" is a must have to me. Songs like "Wolfish Sons of the moon" are impressing rarities, nowadays.

By the way, someone wanna trade/buy my PRIMIGENIUM - All Your Tears Will Be Ours EP (on EAL) ? Shitty noise.
Can't understand the rating of this band, but I don't know the "intolerence" album to be honest.

No way, just that I found it quite funny. I have always thought that this has been the main problem of the Spanish scene since the beginning: to support friend bands and not quality ones. Here the most well-known is the band with more friends, then abroad most get what they deserve: indiference.

In Spain there are some mailorders and labels with vast distribution, like any other places overseas.

About past bands my choice is Xharathorn, of course, but also there was interesting activity in Barcelona.

Nowadays there are interesting bands with various styles/concepts; of course it is necessary talk about Teitanblood & Proclamation, two great bestial bands well known in the whole Death/Black scene, recently I got a demo tape of a band in that vein called Demonomancy, it is OK, I reccommend it to War maniacs.

About "pure" Black Metal I think Amnion and Empty are long-career bands with a deep performing and real serious attitude.

Nowadays the NorthWest is the best area for new bands like Balmog, Marthyrium, Aboriorth (and Nocturnal Hell, side project in a thrashing rot n´roll BM vein), Dantalion... and some more.

I think Spanish Black Metal is not weak, the weakness is of Spanish Black Metallers, here there is not scene, not strong support and a lot of bla bla bla...
