Looking forward to this, Kruzifixxion was in my opinion quite dull...

edit/o.t: Ridiciously good-looking flyer on NED's site as well :D

Nope, they haven't split up. They have just said they will not do any other full lenght album, this was the last one. But they will release several splits, etc...

Saw this earlier today and couldn't believe my eyes! Let's hope "within a couple of weeks" means mid-to-end of August.

So,this new one will be a clone from which DarkThrone release ? They cloned already two Darkthrone records so letīs see this new one.
They have all my support(for I dont support evolution in Grim B.M.) but saying they are original is like saying Britney Spears is a virgin...
"Soulside Journey" would be a pretty good investment and I do mean it.
Stagnation is not Death,itīs keeping the cult alive!

I do, as knowing them largely dictates how fast you need to secure a copy for yourself. Although I doubt that NOEVDIA would press something like this in a run less than 500 copies.

i have that album for 2 days and it's certainly better than anything by darkthrone during the last 10 years..... one word to describe the album would be "CRAZY!".

If they were "just a clone" nobody would care/make a fuss about them...

* off topic *

sorry but what Darkthrone have created the last ten years has nothing to do with what Katharsis or any other band would copy,to be recognized from the black metal community...the typical black metal fan thinks that Darkthrone now is just a punk band..IMO Darkthrone is in the position to do whatever they want and noone can even reach their feeling.just cause they re TRUE...completely off topic...sorry

Fuck all the shit about Darkthrone this and that...

listen to the album while being objective..

Vocals changed a bit... I liked 666 and Kruzifixxion regarding that a bit more.

Apart from that it's a perfect album to experience while cutting your veins!

I like this. Kruzifixxion didn't reach me all that well for some reason, but WWE is much more on the attack, a lot more fire right from the start. Quite a good entry.

No. Norma had to send back the shipment of cds they got since there was some trouble with the press. I was told that in 1-2 weeks it should be available.

Ditto. Virtual "trading" with yet unreleased records' mp3 files is simply retarded.

So what's the actual title of this release?

"VVORLDVVITHOUTEND"?
"Vvorldvvithoutend"?
"VVorldVVithoutEnd"?
"WorldWithoutEnd"?

...or simply "World Without End"?

This may be considered stupid, but it's important for me. I just want to know the exact title.

I have seen that there are vinyls of this coming with 2 covers (one misspressed) so my question is: are all vinyls comig with 2 covers or just a few?

I don't have the answer myself, though I have my own idea which is probably the right answer.

But are you refering to this (http://cgi.ebay.com/KATHARSIS-World-without-end-LP-rare-SPECIAL-EDITION_W0QQitemZ190038394599QQihZ009QQcategoryZ30 6QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item19 0038394599 ) hehe?

Bought the album a week and a half ago. So far, after listening to it a couple of times I don't think it tops Kruzifixxion.

Any other opinions?

I am not a fan of the previous albums. 666 is mediocre, with some good parts and a fair production. Kruzifixxion is boring and the production is the mainfactor for that.

WorldWithoutEnd has more rawness than 666 and a way better production Kruzifixxion, pluss it has some killer songs and the rest are good.
A fine album indeed.

Even though 98% of the bands would fail in being able to deliver something better than Kruzifixxion, Katharsis did succeed. It is a very "obsessed" album in my opinion if you know what I mean.

Ive always loved Katharsis, demos, splits and albums.

I think this one has indeed the elements from demos and splits. And also things from the full-lenghts + a lot of new things too. And by combining all of the earlier works and adding something new, it makes this a great album, imo.

...Yet Im still struggling with the Katharsis track on Tortmenting Legends II...
