Argh, I wonder if the rereleases are limited, because I'm completely broke atm but would hate to miss out on those, especially considering that they're surely of a most impressive quality.

Aside from this, I wasn't that surprised when reading this, for the reason that NED mentioned: one of Sweden's most influential Satanic Metal bands

Of course I didn't except any rereleases of those masterpieces (as I consider them), so that DID surprise me a bit.

Good thing concerning a "pack" to my mind , but a little bit surprised too ...
I will probably bring it back directly from the pre-party.I will be able to see closer the layout and its quality.

Pentagrammation has been delayed to 2007 or something like that.. and Watain didn't announce anything about their new album... so i guess it won't be out this year also.

Michayah is currently in jail for acts of violence, and has been since early march, so those begging to read reviews of their material in advance, sent to him, will thus have to wait. The same goes for the "Pentagrammaton" album of OFERMOD. It will not be finished until autumn, as Michaya's release is supposed to be in august.

Watain is supposed to enter Necromorbus studio in September... So I guess, September + some months and the new album will be out.

So you mean that you have had the Ofermod 7" EP and the Malign demo and the Funeral Mist demo and you believe that it was easy for all the people living out of Sweeden to get them?
And to be honest, I don't like reissues cause every fucking retard can buy stuff that was for specific reasons planed to be limited. But you can't deny (especially for the period this stuff was released) that it was not so easy for all the countries get in time these releases..And as far as I know for France things have been getting better the last 7-8 years..Till then it was hard for you to follow the black metal scene, except some really dedicated people. So I suppose it was difficult for you too to get this demos...
P.S. No offense

Yes I already had most of those releases (& the "Havok" dub I had was well enough for me) but that is not the point, eheh.

I think re-releasing the Dissection albums on vinyl is absolutely useless, even if the new layouts & booklets & so on will be killer & blablabla. I just dont get the point...

Dont get me wrong, I like most of Noevdia & EAL releases, but when it comes to re-releasing stuff from a band like Dissection, I'm sorry but this is too much, and I just see an easy way to make money, and nothing else behind... Espescially when I see that even their latest flat shit "Reinkaos" is part of this work...

This is just my point of view about that Dissection thing & not an aggression towards NED...

PS : no offense taken :)

Well well, who would've seen this coming? Dissection released by Noevdia? I wonder what businessman Nodveidt thinks he can benefits from this though.
Anway, is it possible to buy the releases seperately? Because The somberlain and Reinkaos sucks.

Edit: dissection.nu says these re-releases are also in combination with The End records, that explains.

the two first albums are masterpieces and i'm definitely getting them.
it's possible that they didn't have the choice concerning the reinkaos album, i mean either they released the 3 albums or nothing.
So i'll pass on the last one.

Well , i understand the position of Yulk , i see what he means but by doing that , i guess DISSECTION wants simply to cloture its works by proposing to its most addicted fans a luxurious edition of their three monuments + Bonus tracks ( even if i know that's arguable concerning Reinkaos ).
That's never useless to me anyhow , and even without any bonus tracks i would have bought it ...

By the way , to release Reinkaos with a different band name would have been better i guess , the concept is clearly more "MLO influenced" and far away from their past influences.
Anyway that's quite sure ( to me ) Jon will create anything else after the summer... i can't believe he would stop all his musical activities , that would be a terrible lost with a such feeling by the way...
But well , concerning Reinkaos that's a matter of taste , we could discuss about that indefinitely ...

As i said elsewhere i'm surprised by Noevdia , and i'm pretty sure he/they wouldn't have bought the licence if DISSECTION wasn't so involved into MLO , even if their music is KILLER from A to Z ...

Looking forward to living the Midsummer massacre , It's going to be a lengthy set of both old and new.
A pure historical moment

I believe the next opus from Katharsis is around the corner, and maybe a new Deathspell Omega release. The Ofermod fullength is delayed as has been explained.

Apart from this, I'm quite surprised to see these reissues being done by NED. The reissues of the Malign, Funeral Mist and Ofermod releases were quite good to see from my point of view, since I never had the money to buy these releases when they came out, and trying to obtain the original releases now will cost you a ridiculous amount of money. And as it has been stated, the reissues done by NED (and any other release for that matter) have a very high quality so far. I'll be picking up the first and the last album for sure if it's not more expensive than buying the package.

Katharsis is certainly still coming this year, yes.

However, if they already release more or less everything, I would have wished they had included the songs from the "Where Dead Angels Lie"-MCD as well, but then that probably was a matter of playing-time ...

Since NOEVDIA has re-released some hard-to-find stuff before, any chance that maybe Moonblood - The Winter Falls Over The Land will appear on the label roaster? Haven't read any interview with Moonblood so I'm totally blue on their ideologies etc. etc.

Just a thought, since DsO has done a split with them.

My feeling is that would be a task for EAL if anyone...

i assume so. i like reinkaos, and the quality of all 3 vinyls is amazing! embossed logo, foiling, gatefolds, big spine, huge booklets with content actually worth looking through for a while, dual vinyls....really good job here.
