FLUISTERWOUD : The vinyl version of "Langs Galg en Rad" has been available for a couple of weeks now. Co-released with the Netherlands’ Melaskhole Productions, this piece of dirty Black Metal comes in heavy black vinyl with nice, rough gatefold covers. If you don't know this Dutch horde yet, we warmly recommend you to check them out. Some say it reminds them of early SATYRICON..but since the music speaks better by itself it’s best that you check a low quality sample of it here (http://www.fluisterwoud.nl/666/mp3/Langs-Galg_en_Rad.mp3). This version differs slightly from the CD version released by Full Moon Productions as it carries a cover of Darkthrone instead of the original Lugubrum one. Limited to 500 copies.

REBIRTH OF NEFAST : The demo tape, "Only Death" from this mysterious and eerie project coming out of nowhere is currently at the pressing plant. 300 copies done in pro tapes and some extra non-pro ones will spread within the next few weeks. For the curious ones, a sample will be shortly uploaded.

ARS DIAVOLI : In our opinion, one of the best Lusitanian Black Metal projects ever to emerge from the pits of Hell, ARS DIAVOLI’s first demo tape is currently being pressed. This one-man band, who already participated in a 4 way Split CD with PENITENCIA, IRAE and THY BLACK BLOOD, performs "Depressive" Black Metal surrounded by tormented & painful screams. "The Absence Of Light" contains 4 hymns and will also come in 300 pro tapes. The first full length of the band will be released via Debemur Morti Productions in the future. You can already check a sample (taken from the demo) here (http://www.debemur-morti.com/samples/Ars_Diavoli-Human_Mass_Suicide%28sample%29.mp3) and enter the forsaken realm of Vilkatis.

NÅSTROND : "Muspellz Synir", the new full length of this Swedish entity, is fully recorded and is currently being mastered. Once all elements are completed, it will be promptly sent to press. Knowing that we're almost in mid-November, we don't expect this to be out before early next year. We know many are eager to listen to their new material but you'll have to be a little more patient. More news about it as soon as possible.

KULT : The first full length of this Italian duo is currently at the pressing plant. You can already check some samples on the band’s website http://www.kult-band.com as well as here (http://www.debemur-morti.com/samples/Kult-Final_Embrace%28sample%29.mp3) & here (http://www.debemur-morti.com/samples/Kult-Enstrangement%28sample%29.mp3). 10 Black Metal hymns with a melancholic touch and grim vocals is what you can expect from "Winds Of War". Basic & straight to the point is definitively the realm of KULT. No extra gimmicks, just Black Metal with a good production. We expect to have it
available in the early days of December. A vinyl version shall be unleashed sometime in the future.

HORNA / BEHEXEN : As announced earlier and to give it a proper distribution, the split CD gathering two of the most respected Finnish hordes is currently at the pressing plant and shall be here by December. The picture vinyl version announced
some months ago is delayed sine die until the layout (specially done for this version) of the record is ready. No date at all for this one so don't ask. We'll provide news as soon as there is any.

HORNA / SACRIFICIA MORTUORUM : The vinyl only split release gathering Finnish HORNA and French SACRIFICIA MORTUORUM will soon go to the pressing plant. Released in cooperation with Grievantee Productions, it will feature brand new recorded material from both hordes. For those familiar with S.M., these new songs are definitively the best material they ever wrote. A sample from both bands will soon be uploaded on our website. Check back to get a taste of it.

HORNA : The CD version of "Ääniä Yössä" has been spreading for a little while now and it was about time to unleash the wax version. No bonus material whatsoever, you'll get the same content in a noble heavy vinyl version. As with the split with S.M., this will be released in cooperation with Grievantee Productions. Both vinyls are expected sometime in December.

Some HORNA merchandise (tshirt and hooded zip sweatshirts) bearing the stigmata of the black plague are in the making and should be available by December too.

(V.E.G.A.) : We were recently told by Ravèz that the band MIGHT unleash hell once more. We truly hope so and for those who were addicted to "Cocaine" and would like to get more, we warmly recommend to write the band an email or sign their online guestbook @ http://www.vega-korporation.com. A sick design, taken from "Cocaine" was recently completed to print some longsleeves which can be expected in the close future.

TENEBRAE IN PERPETUUM : The jewel case version of "Antico Misticismo" is currently out of print. Since the album is still widely available as well as we still have copies of the digipack pressing, there won't be a new pressing in the near future. A new tshirt design is in the works though.

ANIMUS MORTIS : After experiencing problems with their past drummer, the band have found a worthy replacement and is currently rehearsing for the recording sessions planned sometime soon. Their first full length is still planned for 2007. http://www.animusmortis.com

VORDR : The long delayed vinyl version of the first album from this Finnish horde will finally be sent to press shortly. The layout presented until now on our website has been completely revisited (since it was not suitable for a good final printed result).We wish to apologize to all who have been waiting for the wax version of this tormented opus so long (including the band itself) but it appears that time runs way faster than expected... The wait is mostly over !

HELL MILITIA : Unfortunately for those (like us) waiting for the vinyl version of "Canonisation Of The Foul Spirit", it's not over yet... as we're still waiting for the artwork from the band ourselves...

Last but not least, here are some announcements concerning fresh pacts :

KROHM : US based project KROHM inked a deal with Debemur Morti Productions to unleash their second album. Recordings of thenew opus is currently being completed. We can already mention that it will contain 7 songs clocking in at approx. 50 minutes. The album is so far untitled but the material we have heard so far is very, very promising. Those who unjoyed the previous material won't be disappointed. More news about this one very shortly ! http://www.krohmvoid.com/

OCTOBER FALLS : Those of you who know this Finnish one-man band are familiar with acoustic guitars music. Yet, this is not the only face Miko had to offer. 'The acoustic path is now behind' and Debemur Morti Productions has been chosen to unleash "The Streams Of The End" mini album, which will show 'a much harsher expression'.
Deeply bearing the trademarks of the previous material (acoustic guitars, sorrowful music...), 4 songs linked to each other to form a 20 minutes long hymn, will be released in the first months of 2007. First as a vinyl version and then as a compact disc.

OLD WAINDS : After the freezing "Scalding Coldness" released by German Miriquidi Productions, the horde decided to join Debemur Morti Productions for their upcoming full length. The new material shall be recorded sometime around the end of the year/beginning of next year. More news will be provided in time.

SPEKTR : We will be releasing the vinyl version of the latest effort from this French experimental/avantgarde Black Metal duo. This version will come with different layout than the CD version. No release date planned as we speak but it will most likely come sometime in early 2007.

MYRKR / NÅSTROND : The 10" split gathering these two hordes (previously planned to be released on another label) will after all be released by Debemur Morti Productions. The material is recorded for some time now but the artwork still needs to be completed. It appears that a talented Irish artist was found for this task so we hope to have all elements soon as we're eagerly waiting for this release to become reality.

MYRKR : While we're at it, we'll take this opportunity to announce that this Irish duo have decided to gather forces with Debemur Morti for the birth of their first full length. Not in its whole yet but what I could hear (for both the split with MYRKR and the album) was great material. Raw & sinister. Closer to the debut material but still different in some way.

edit: the riff i mean, was used in one Dornenreich song, from the second full lenght.

I felt only totally reminded to Agalloch/dornenreich. That has nothing to do with skipping the originators...it´s clear that there are elements/influences of the bands you´ve mentioned, but that i didn´t want to say. I only want to say that it sounds very similar to my mentioned 2 bands.

I thought all this was going to be released by Drakkar! "Toteslaut" was going to be released in Pic Disc and all other releases in deluxe digis. Weird!

You're right, it was originally planned to come out on Drakkar, therefore the (). But plans changed.

As Hellslaughter mentionned, Drakkar will reissue the first two albums on digipack and we'll handle the new album.

Nåstrond's website is not updated, which explains the lack of info in there.

NÅSTROND : "Muspellz Synir" is in the last stages of completion before going to press. No release date is scheduled yet because we don't know exactly when we'll have all the components in hand. However, we can already announce that a limited boxset edition will be unleashed. Exact contents to be revealed in due time….

KROHM : The so far untitled new full length is also in its final stages of completion. Again, no release date can be provided for now. Expect more news very soon.

KROHM / TENEBRAE IN PERPETUUM : An excellent new project is being forged - a split album gathering KROHM and TENEBRAE IN PERPETUUM. Each band will contribute 3 or 4 new, exclusive-to-this-release hymns. TENEBRAE IN PERPETUUM are crafting something "unusual" to those familiar
with their previous material. Release date for this one shall be around Winter 2007 on both digital and analog formats.

AOSOTH / TEMPLE OF BAAL : Another great split in the final stages of completion. This one will materialise as a split 7", gathering rabid French fanatics AOSOTH and TEMPLE OF BAAL. Layout is being finalised and a release date is expected before summer.

ANIMUS MORTIS : After their promising demo, the Chilean horde will hit the studio at the end of February to record their first full length under the DMP banner.

HELL MILITIA : Contrary to what was announced a few weeks ago, the vinyl version of "Canonisation Of The Foul Spirit" is still delayed.
Files provided for the artwork were not in the requested format. We're waiting for the new ones to come...

HORNA : Finnish horde will be touring Europe together with BLACKLODGE and VORKREIST from September 7 to September 30 of 2007. Official announcement with planning to be revealed very shortly.

Amazing split, I must admit that my expectations weren't that high.

"Dead Cult" is probably one of the best Temple Of Baal songs so far. The whole song is very intense, the sound is fucking LOUD as hell, strong old death metal feeling sometimes mixed with early 90's black metal vibe. I hope the next album will be in that vein, can't get enough of it.

Aosoth's "...of Fire" is a good short but effective oldschool black metal song, in my opinion better than the few older songs featuring on the split with Antaeus.

Too bad the lyrics aren't included.

Just for example : Today every wannabe blackster can download an MP3 of something he wants to listen to.

People want everything, right here, right now, they just CAN'T WAIT. We, on the contrary, have learnt to wait, to order stuff on mailorders etc.

Definitely NOT the same as the wankers of today.

Come on it's not just a complaint, we all know a whole lot of people supposely grown mature and/or just vanished away when they were supposed to be the truest guys on earth. Don't know about you, but as far as I'm concerned, we're just a few around here remaining. In our area, the Black Metal scene is not a youngster scene. And there are not that many -but there are- new killing stuffs coming from nowhere actually. Most of interesting acts are coming from guys doing their things for quite a long time, and I'm not speaking about tape trading or 15 years ago activities as I don't really care a lot myself.
Nostalgia maybe, with a part of pride to still be the same, take it for what you want, but we're certainly not crying a river on the old time.

Ok, this is very true. While 'some time' ago my most favourite stuffs were done by youngsters, sometimes teenagers, almost all good emanations today are done by guys with experience (right, there's enough current examples for that).
On those that vanished away, started to record crap etc, my initial reaction is always: why mention them anyways?

There are some Blut Aus Nord moments though....that I adore....but sounds wierd at first on Leviathan tracks.

Well, their most necro/best recording was "Through Chaos To Eternal Winter" promo '99 (I'm referring to the original tape sound (also present on 7" edition), not the castrated remastering available on CD). Anyway, I've liked the new track a lot, even though it's too "modern norway" sounding to my taste... In the end it's hard to expect the same sound from the band like it was 10 years ago. But, as a cuirious detail (which is not widely known), their "Scalding Coldness" albbum, which was pretty much "bashed" for "clean production" was recorded in the same garage as all their earlier stuff (besides of bass & vox if I remember right)... ;)

Interesting- I do have the rehearsal recording of "Religion of Spiritual Violence" and I have to admit I like it better than the finished product- the rawness is the thing!

Heh, one more curious detail 'bout OW then... The CD-version of "Religion..." released by Miriquidi is rather far from the original master sound. That was their first CD release and they were not too much aware how to prepare the master properly, so just sent the master DAT-tape to the label. As the result it was digitized in a fucked up way, read in a way it seemed to sound to Miriquidi's guy ears! Hope that the shortly coming re-release on NEGATIVE EXISTANCE will be done from the band-confimed master-CD...

When Famine got in touch and offered me to release this vinyl, he mentionned the 2xMC version was not properly pressed, therefore the crappy sound.

For this vinyl edition, we used the original sound except for the "Mémoire Païenne" demo and the song "Retour de flamme" which got remastered.

I also have the tape version and the sound is pretty fine by me!

I have already ordered the vinyl from a label here in Portugal, if the sound is better good, but the TAPE has more material than the LP.

I think it's good to have both...

Reissues delayed, new gear ready !

We just got word from the pressing plant that due to summer vacations they will not be able to ship the ARCKANUM and BLOOD OF KINGU reissues within the agreed time frame. We have no choice but to push back the release date to September 11th and hope there will be no further delay. In the meanwhile, please refrain from trying to order them, we are not taking pre-orders.

## - The Aeon Of The Neverending Delays

Finally some long overdue news about the ARCHGOAT anniversary release....

Late February we were told by the pressing plant that the boxset was near completion and therefore we started accepting pre-orders on the special edition. Two weeks later, as we were waiting for shipment confirmation, we finally received unwanted tidings regarding a new problem with the artwork files. It took time to fix this (by the way, all hails to MkM for helping with this issue) and the manufacturing was postponed once more. We decided not to mention anything about it until we had concrete and real information to spread. And now is the time to announce that, FINALLY, the boxsets will be in our hands by the end of April. We apologise to those who have pre-ordered and are, like us, eagerly waiting for this box to be available. The wait will soon be over !
