I'm going to Thailand, staying in Bangkok for one night. Is there anyone from Thailand or have been to Bangkok? Because I would like to know if there was any place interesting to go to, like live house or second hand CD stores. Thanks!

There is a metal pub in Bangkok, it's advertised in the papers over there. In respect of music,I was only able to purchase cassettes licensed for Thai release. I'd recommend going to either Lumpinee or Ratchamaderman stadium to watch the Muay Thai and then hit the town. Great country.

Go to Siam Square.Opposite the big shoppingmall(the real tall building) there is a smaller one with all little shops and a big cinema on top.In there you can find a small metal shop run by two guys.Don't expect to find lots off stuff. They don't have much but it's all original, not imitation.

For a metal bar,go to Khao San Road(if you are a lousy backpacker you are probably there anyway)and look for the Immortal bar. It's a nice small place were they play metal during the night. The owner Fah plays in a local metalband called Plahn. He gave me free tickets for a show last year when I visited Thailand.I traded a Dynamo t-shirt with him.He is a really nice guy!
