I'm looking for bands playing music, which can be described as Industrial Black Metal. Till now I know only:

MYSTICUM
THORNS
DIABOLICUM
ABORYM
THEE MALDOROR KOLLECTIVE
BLACKLODGE

Basically, I'm looking for something similar to them. Could you help me? Album titles and names of the labels which released them will be appreciated.

Check out Legionz Ov Hell. More electronic than the bands you listed, yet more violent. A mix of power electronics/speedcore and black metal. Quite harsh.

Look for GOATKHULT ORDER, 12"(2001 Released by Street Trash/Speedcore.). It contains the bands best material (look for the song 'Khult ov Abaddon' if you can find it, to see what I mean)

They also reportedly did an EP on A.I.D.S Productions, which I'd be interested in getting, if it even exists.

I heard the name Legionz Ov Hell, but are their releases available anywhere?? AIDS is defunct.... And was "Goatkhult Order" ever released? On Street Trash's website I found no info concerning it.

Try dimensional-psychosis.This is not a 100% industrial BM band but they do have a certain touch...It includes 2 members of Fluisterwoud.

You got the point. I was thinking about DHG when I wrote that.

Try Weltbrand, the main band of Funerald Winds' bass player. Not as extreme in the desired direction but certainly good.

Legionz ov Hell is an ok band..

Spektr too.

Dreadnacht
17-08-04, 15:38
I'd also add Anaal Nathrakh and Axis of Perdition here...One can discuss if it is still black metal or not, but undoubtely both bands got this dirty industrial touch...and both are dehumanized and brutal as fuck.

Niden div.187, without any doubt.

Is Niden Div. 187 so industrial? "Towards Judgement" is a good mcd, but it's not what I'm looking for right now.

Not that industrial, right, you can even say not at all... but it is pretty hard to define your exemples in the original post, Mysticum for exemple, just with "industrial"... I found a kind of similar feeling anyway with niden div...

I personnaly think that Blacklodge has nothing industrial... I like the album... but it's not because they use a drumachine that they are industrial...

VEGA - "Cocaine", has some "industrial" or Mysticum elements I think.

You're right. But somehow I don't find Niden Div. 187 similar to Mysticum at all... More similarities I find on some tracks of Corpus Christii and Ad Hominem.

Actually it's very hard to define what is an Industrial Black Metal band. For some it maybe something like that horrible Myself... I think it's more about the feeling. And I have the wanted feeling while listening to "Login:SataN".

A question about LEGIONZ OV HELL. Does anyone here actually has ANY of their releases? Maybe some of you were in contact with the band?

I don't know if Weltbrand (HOL) fits under this genre, but they have industrial touches to their music. Great stuff, just out on New Era Productions!

R.F.18 is a pure indus BM band, it's a side project
of SV Martin (Death Dies / Evol).
"Direct area of impact - biomechanical project 1" 2001
but limited to 300 copies, so I'm not sure it's still available !

Brutal doom death with industrial sounds is what Zaraza makes. Not BM but pretty dark and powerful. http://zaraza.doom-metal.com/

another great industrial black metal project is PERMAFROST INDUSTRIES!!!!!

I just heard some raw traxxx and it's fucking great!!! sick drumbeatz and fucking killer guitar riffs... it's a project of some members of DIMENSIONAL PSYCHOSIS (which can also be linked withy Industrial black metal)... the stuff of Permafrost industries reminds me of Blacklodge, Mysticum and even Zyklon B...

I really hope this shit comes out soon, cause it will blow your brains out!

The old and dead TYRANNIUM.

Samples and drum-machine don't make you instantly industrial. But I see "industrial BM" is a very vague term.

Though not Black Metal, RED HARVEST kill almost every band mentioned in this thread.

Kreuzweg Ost ?

R.S.
07-10-04, 00:07
Kreuzweg Ost doesn't have anything to do with BM at all (except for the past/reputation of one of the guys involved...); interesting stuff nevertheless, and quite humorous in a bizarre way if you understand the german samples...

Concerning the topic, I'd immodestly point at my own project Kæltetod (http://cut.by/kaeltetod) - slow, primitive and mechanic sounding Black Metal with some Industrial/Ambient parts, contact me through the site or via PM for more information...

somebody put a flyer for an album in my hands yesterday:

Miscreant - Occult Philosophy

description: Second album of Russian Occult Tehcno Death Metal band

if you're into this kind of stuff (I don't 'dig' "occult techno death metal" though) , it might interest you (doubtable)

Just one thing, "techno" here stands for technical nothing to do with electronic music (I don't know Miscreant). Bands like Atheist, Cynic, Mordred V back then.
